After ten months of planning itineraries, booking trips and what felt like endless waiting, on Sunday we finally jetted off on holiday. Over the past few days we’ve been exploring Dubai, and over the next few weeks we’ll be travelling across Australia and Bali. Eep! With friends and family back home who are keen to find out what we’re up to, I decided it made sense to blog about it all. This way, you can all essentially be with us every step of the way!
Most posts will be quite brief as I’ll be itching to get back out there and experience more of this amazing adventure, but more in-depth posts such as trip, accommodation, flight and destination reviews will follow once I’m home – which I hope will help any of you who are keen to explore the same parts of the world as we currently are! You’ll have to bear with me though as not all of our accommodation has wifi available.
As I’m writing this, I’m pretty tired and have an extremely confused body clock. We left Dubai at 10:45am on the 4th November, and now all of a sudden I’m over 8,000 miles away and it’s 21:20pm on the 5th November. I feel like I’ve totally lost a day, which is really bizarre. We’ve had a great time in Sydney so far, though unfortunately the weather isn’t great. Tomorrow looks better though, thank god! Bring on Bondi Beach.
Next up, find out what we got up to on day one in Dubai…
