As you may have gathered from my Kiehls Skin Care Haul post, my skin isn’t the best. I don’t have many blemishes and spots as such, but I have possibly the most extreme combination skin going with some areas of my face being completely dry, and others being horribly oily and porous. While my daily cleansers and moisturisers help, I’m yet to find the answer to a perfectly even and clear complexion, though that said, by some miracle I’ve found the mother of all face masks which I now cannot imagine going a week without!

Introducing, the Epoch Glacial Marine Mud Mask. To sum it up for you, this revitalising clay mask contains sea botanicals which draws out dirt and impurities from the skin. I won’t lie it’s not pretty if you’ve got blackheads, because you can quite literally see every last one whilst the mask works its magic, but that’s the best bit in my opinion because at least you know it’s working!

After using this mask my skin is left feeling fresh, renewed and silky smooth. So, as my post title suggests, I truly believe this face mask is the type that is worthy of being used during a spa facial. I use it two to three times a week at the moment as my skin is at its worst with the weather heating up a little, but I’m hoping that as time goes on and my skin improves I’ll find that it’s more a case of ‘I fancy a pamper’ as opposed to ‘holy crap my face has hit rock bottom and needs urgent care’.

Retailing at £24.55 it isn’t the cheapest option, but I’ve been using mine for two or three months now and there’s still at least half of the bottle left. Have you tried this face mask? Let me know what you thought!
