I can’t get my head around the fact that it’s now July. What happened to June? I genuinely have no idea where that month went. As much as I want it to be October so Darryl and I can move into our apartment and gear up for our month abroad, part of me wishes time would slow down just slightly – so that I can fully appreciate this summer! Despite it being a quick month, June seemed to throw countless amazing products at me which quickly became favourites.
Bath & Body Works Hand Sanitisers, Hand Cream and Soaps
As I mentioned in my May Favourites, my Mum was heading over to the States in early June and when she asked if I’d like anything to blog about (she knows me too well), naturally Bath & Body Works sprung to my mind. Apologies if you’re sick of the site of these adorable little hand sanitisers – but I can guarantee that if you bought one, you’d understand my love for them. Thanks to their amazing 5 for $6 deal, my mum treated us both to a whole range of sanitisers (including an adorable little holder!). Alongside those, she also got me three delicious smelling hand soaps for our apartment – plus this sweet little hand-bag sized hand lotion. I’m all stocked up for the next year or two now! Though the peanut butter M&Ms didn’t make it past one week – oops.
Olay 2 in 1 Moisturiser
Despite worshiping my Herbalife Skin moisturiser, as always I fancied trying out a new one. My mum has been using one of the Olay moisturisers, and having borrowed it once – I really liked how instantly soft my skin became, so I went out and bought a similar one as soon as my old one ran out. Admittedly it’s not quite as amazing as the one my mum has, but it’s not far from it! It does the job, and the tiniest amount goes a long way. I almost didn’t buy it as it’s for wrinkles, but I figured there’s no harm in catching them early!
L’Oréal Miss Manga Mascara
I’m actually quite sad that I’ve had to part ways with my Benefit ‘They’re Real’ mascara. I adored it, but couldn’t quite justify the price tag this time as I’m on a mega spending cut right now. Just for the record though – it lasted me six months so if you’re thinking of getting it, whip out that debit card! As a replacement, I picked up this mascara in Superdrug as part of a 2 for £12 deal. It can become a tad clumpy if you over-apply, but it gives a long, thick finish to your lashes. L’Oréal don’t ever seem to get it wrong!
Colab London Dry Shampoo
I adore the Batiste dry shampoos, but I’ve been using them for over a year now and fancied a change. After hearing about how amazing this product was, I had to try it – and I was not disappointed! It does the job beautifully, and doesn’t leave the white powder all over your hair like the Batiste one does.
