All I crave during autumn and winter is a big gooey marshmallow filled hot chocolate with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles, as I’m sure a lot of you do too. However whilst you’re trying to eat clean to achieve that ‘summer bod’ well in advance of the bikini weather season, indulging in a fatty calorific drink isn’t ideal. Because of this, I’ve been searching for an alternative to chocolate that feels like a treat, but in actual fact isn’t too bad for you. And then I came across Options Treats.
The Original Range individual sachets are a maximum of 44 calories per mug (calories vary depending on the flavour), which is next to nothing in reality. They also offer an Indulgence Range that are a maximum of 61 calories per individual sachet. Although slightly higher in calories, the few extra numbers aren’t worth complaining about for that creamy luxurious taste. Aside from the individual sachets, the ever popular hot chocolate powders are also sold in a jar form, from which you can make about 14 servings per jar.
Options Treats have a vast range of original and indulgence flavours, all of which are a must try. I’ve sampled several of them already and they’re all to die for. In the past I’ve tried several other large brands of hot chocolate, but I can honestly say I much prefer Options Treats over all of these! You can buy either the Options Treats sachets or jars from most local supermarkets, prices vary per item and per store however more often than not supermarkets have a deal on which is certainly worth investigating.
Now I don’t know about you, but 30-60 calories of chocolate-y goodness has me sold! I do occasionally add some mini marshmallows as a treat, and today is one of those days. As I write this I’m enjoying a cosy evening watching movies and drinking a Creamy Belgian Chocolate flavoured Options drink with the full works.
Stock up girls, this hot chocolate is too good not to try!
