Full, groomed, well structured brows are currently the ultimate goal for any girl who enjoys experimenting with makeup, so getting those beauties right is crucial. There are countless famous personalities who have influenced this trend, cough Cara Delevingne cough, but the likes of Pinterest and Instagram are also taking this “brows on fleek” trend by storm. So ok, the majority of us probably spend way too much time trying to get that perfectly in-line, arched brow and more often than not achieve a look that’s way further from that Insta picture than intended, but as they say, practice makes perfect!

I’ve tried and tested several brow products from your well known drug stores, but with this pressing determination that I have to get my brows right, I decided to branch out a little – and where better to go than Anastasia Beverley Hills? This brand is known for its stunning brow products, so I had to give them a go sooner or later.

Despite Dipbrow Pomade having equally incredible reviews, I opted for the Brow Wiz Pencil, purely because I’m not quite arty enough to master using an angled brush just yet. The packaging alone is adorable, but I really love the pencil’s sleek, black, bold design. On one end you have the ultra-fine mechanical pencil which fills in sparse brows for a naturally fuller appearance, and on the other you have the spooley brush which blends the pencil’s colour seamlessly. Another benefit of this product is that it totally eliminates the need for messy sharpening, win win.

With nine shades to choose from, I wasn’t entirely sure what to go for. I have relatively dark hair, but light eyebrows, so I bit the bullet, bought Medium Brown and hoped for the best. Thankfully, this colour was absolutely spot on for my brows. Applying this pencil is easier than ever and truly does create the appearance of fine, well groomed hairs, and the brush simply finishes off the look with an extremely natural touch.

Overall I’m seriously impressed with Brow Wiz, and at £15.50 it’s not going to break the bank. This pencil will no doubt last a fair while, but I really am tempted to try Dipbrow at some point! Have you tried either of these products? What did you think? be sure to let me know on Twitter, FacebookInstagram, or in the comments below!
