As promised in last week’s “Part 1” post about my evening at the Lush Cosmetics Bloggers/YouTubers event, the time has come to reveal what I received in my goodie bag. I genuinely didn’t expect to be given freebies at all, so I was pretty excited when they started handing out the bags and I quickly found myself scurrying through the individual packets like some sort of excited rehomed gerbil. Needless to say I wasn’t disappointed with what was inside, though that would never happen because come on – it’s Lush, and before I knew it I had another product in my hand that I’d grabbed whilst mooching around the displays. I could have easily spent £50 in there, but with payday still being two weeks away I could only justify a £5 limit.

Freebie #1 – Cup O’ Coffee Face Mask

I literally wanted this product so badly after having seen it being used in the demo earlier on in the evening. It is what it says on the pot – a face mask that smells like coffee. What more could you want? This product literally combines two of my favourite things and I absolutely adore it. My only niggle is that it’s quite sharp on the skin, but it’s certainly not a deal breaker. My morning face routine has been revolutionised, and when this sampler pot runs out I’ll soon be legging it back to the store to buy a new face mask – or two.

Freebie #2 – Softy Foot Lotion

I’m not a huge foot cream user – mainly because feet are weird and I try to avoid even mine at all costs, but this product really is lovely. For a start it smells absolutely wonderful, like almost too wonderful to be put on feet, but nevertheless a good scent never goes amiss. Feet can become dry during summer if you tend to walk around barefoot, and also in winter because it’s so damn cold, so applying a nourishing foot cream now and then is actually a wise decision.

Freebie #3 – Wash That Man Right Out Of My Hair Shower Gel

I’m always on the hunt for new shower gel, and whilst this diddy little pot won’t go far during a wash – it’s great to have a little “try before you buy” session with it. Aside from the pleasant aroma it gives off, I actually love the colour. Believe it or not it’s actually a bright orange colour. I always tend to go for bright, fruity looking shower gels because they essentially scream “clean” at me – and this one didn’t disappoint!

Freebie #4 – Frozen Bath Bomb

You cannot go wrong with a good, powdery bath bomb. In my life I’ve only ever come across one person that dislikes them, something of which I’m still trying to get my head around, but basically every other female I know could bathe in these beauties until the cows come home. Despite having more of a wintery feel to it – purely based on the colour and name of it – without I doubt I could see myself using this all year round. I think my favourite thing about it is its marbley effect. As you can see, I’ve already enjoyed half of it – I know you’re supposed to drop the entire bomb into the water but I always break it up and use it over two or three baths instead.

Intergalactic Bath Bomb

You’ve possibly seen this one on social media as it’s already proving to be a real favourite within the Lush ‘Bath’ collection, which is exactly why I had to have it. I’m so excited to try this one. It’s literally the glitteriest, prettiest thing I’ve ever seen and I have seriously high hopes of what it’ll do when it hits that water. I’m sort of half expecting to emerge looking like a unicorn. I’ll let you know how that goes.

Overall it was a fantastic event and I’m so glad I got the chance to spend time sussing out the new range with some really lovely ladies. If there are any other Lush products you think I should be trying, comment below!
