Life’s too short not to explore the world, and you don’t need your life savings to do it either, so this is a blog for the people who want to visit the bucket list destinations of their dreams in the most cost-effective ways possible.
I was born into a family that loved travel, so I’ve been lucky enough to visit new destinations every year since the age of two. So far I’ve ticked off 29 countries in 24 years. And counting! Some of my top trips so far have been to Mexico, Dubai, Australia, Bali, Dominican Republic and various parts of Europe.
This website of mine came about when my previous ‘bit of everything’ blog led me to realise that I didn’t care for much else the way I did travel. So I scrapped all the old stuff and put all my focus onto the thing I love most; exploring the world. You can read more about that in this post.
Behind the blog I live and work in Milton Keynes as a Marketing & Communications Executive, and when I’m not working, blogging or travelling, I’m at home with my fiancé Darryl and cat Luna, probably planning my next trip. Oh, and my destination wedding! I should probably be doing more with that…
What’s your favourite beach destination? This is so hard to pick, but I’d have to say the Whitsunday Islands in Australia. I’ve never seen such fine, white sand in my life. Can’t beat a bit of Mexico either!
What’s your favourite city? It’s a really tough call between New York City and Barcelona. Both very different, I know!
What’s your favourite cuisine? I love Mexican and Turkish equally (but am partial to a huge Nandos. Guilty).
What’s your favourite thing about blogging? I’ve always loved writing, so writing about my love of travel is something I enjoy so much. I also love taking photos and that’s a huge part of blogging!
Do you get paid to blog? At this point in time, no! I get a few gifted items but the only money I make from this website is from the ads and affiliate links.
How do you travel so much? I have a good amount of annual leave at work and I plan it VERY carefully to make sure I get as much out of it as possible. You can always fit little trips into weekends too. I wrote more on this here!
If you have a question, I’d love to hear it! Head over to my contact page and I’ll get back to you when I can.
