Apart from briefly passing through the Birmingham and London Christmas Markets in the past, I’d never dedicated a day to exploring a proper Christmas market – that was until we made the trip to Bath Christmas Market.
Bath isn’t the closest Christmas Market to us, but it seemed that nobody had a bad thing to say about it.
It took an absolute lifetime to get there, let alone park, but with four hours to cram in as much as possible, we fueled ourselves with a quick Nandos and made our way into the chaos.
Everything from the market itself, to the gigantic sparkling tree, to the decorated architecture in Bath made it the perfect Christmas Market destination.
There were even choirs singing through the streets, which made it feel even more magical.
It was crazy busy in Bath, but this was the perfect Christmas Market trip ahead of Christmas.
With the big day closing in it’s fair to say that I’m now beginning to get pretty excited about it all!
Roll on the festivities, prosecco and excessive amounts of yule log.
